Plexiglass

My mind is broken
Like plexiglass
Touch and feel
The ribbons of old
Pain
Weaving their way through
Memories on memories
Awoken and
Buried
Constantly hurried
To a place where
Their sharp edges
Will no longer make me
Bleed
Look and see
A web
If you push too hard
The tiny puzzle pieces
Held by some
Misplaced
Gravity
Will crash
Crumble
Fall
Break for a final
Snapshot of time
That will drag drag drag
On
For an infinity
Of picking up
Glass shards
Of a life filled with
Tiny scars
Not fatal
But full of such
Harm
Tap, tapped
On my fragile
Mind
Plexiglass
Flex and cast
Reminiscence aside
